That's what they thought before they woke up in a very... different body.

Naturally, she was very pissed.

Pissed enough that she took out quite a lot of her ghostly aggression on every hostile thing in the forest she ran into.

No one ever found the missing child, but it's said that a peculiar inhabitant of the woods now guides others through to make sure they don't suffer the same fate.
