Congradulations to the crew of the Hokule'a and the Polynesian Voyaging Society for the completion of their historic 3 year around the world voyage of "Malama Honua" ("Care for the World") to promote enviromental awareness and sustainability. Today we make history as the Hokule'a ("Star of Happiness" [Arcturus]) becomes the first Polynesian voyaging canoe to circumnavigate the globe using traditional navigation techniques and without the aid of any modern navigational instruments.
