This is the amazing result of a YCH from TheTiedTigress! I can't get over this piece. It makes me feel so strongly nostalgic for the days and nights I've spent rafting, hiking, and camping on and along the Green River and Desolation Canyon. Evergreen is probably home for me but, man, Desolation Canyon is pretty damn close to home, too~ ♡

She was extremely communicative and kept me consistently and excellently updated throughout the whole process. She really took the time to make sure that my commission came out just the way I wanted it to, listening to my ideas, making sure to get my character's markings just right . . . she even went so far as to incorporate colors from a tattoo that I shared with her into the colors of my piece! And she was also cheery, personable, and fun to work with the whole time! I promise you . . . this is absolutely one artist you want to work with, so what are you waiting for?! Whoa what an interesting find! Not much really got my attention lately, great job making this character and your artist did a very good job on the atmosphere! It's believable and very artistic. Now with that being said, the fire itself seems to have an unusual shape for the setting! It looks interesting, I've never seen anything like this before :3

You really made my whole day! Thank you so much for your kind words. I worry a lot about whether or not my character is "good" (if her markings look out-of-place, if she's interesting, if she looks distinct/unique) . . . you gave me a much-needed confidence boost!
As for the rest . . . well, the artist and I are both Avatar: The Last Airbender fans, and the outfit I requested reminded them of something that a Water Tribesman might wear, so when they suggested that we have my fursona bending water, I jumped on it!
To be honest, I've never noticed that the fire looks odd! You're right, it definitely does! Perhaps it's just because Raen is using magick to create it?

And let's face it the subject is the first thing you look at :3 So there must've been something they liked! It's just that people are quiet about it I find. I'm a very quiet person myself unless I run into something interesting x3
Ahh waterbending. I saw the last airbender the movie, brilliant stuff! And eyup!
And who knows! Maybe an airbender is in front of you making the fire look as if a firebender is about to do some firetricks because the fire looks unusual xD and then boom, air tricks instead!
