I won't lie I had a ball doing this one! I've been wanting to try my hand at a belly dancer for a while and since Sally is my current muse, I figured she could help me scratch that itch. This was a difficult but fun pose. It took a lot of careful blocking (especially with the skirt) but I think it paid off. The sketch took maybe an hour or two but I decided to break up the color work over the span of a few days. I'm really happy with how she turned out. I feel like I captured a feeling sensuality while letting her have fun with it. (It also helped that I was blasting Shakira while working on her!) XD
