(This type of Seal Pony is something I created, no they are not a closed or open species per-say. But I prefer to keep Talula original and not have others copy her exact design or anatomy. She means a lot to me and it would honestly piss me off and hurt me to see others copy her and be unoriginal by taking her anatomy and or design.

Even her original ref-sheet was submitted before very popular adopts of seal-ponies very similar to her were released. There is only ONE seal pony that I know of similar to her that was submitted before her and has many differences in color, anatomy, and hair wise. Example: It is less seal themed, it has a cutiemark, it has more of a mermaid anatomy //less of a seal anatomy// to it (being thick at the base but then thinning out dramatically at the end and splitting off into more of a fish like tail.)

I gave Talula a traditional seal anatomy meaning, that she does not have that 'mermaid' anatomy. She has a fat base and fat end. Just like a seal would.

To get to the point, just don't. Don't take my Ponysona's anatomy and put some weird design on it. K.
I worked hard on Talula and she is a very personal character to me.)
