I never said it on FurAffinity, but six months ago I got into fountain pens, and the idea came around to learn how to draw with them. What this is is essentially a first attempt at the medium. I have only blue and black ink, so that explains the color scheme. Personally, I'm not the happiest with it, and for that reason I seriously considered putting this in my scraps folder, but I feel like I'll get better with practice
I probably won't do fountain pen artwork on regular printer paper again. That white spot you see in my fursona's hair is the bottom of my scanner lid showing through, not a spot I missed—the paper got so saturated with ink that it disintegrated there! I HAD bristol paper, but since my muse was pretty much dead at the time and my brother later needed it for a class he was taking, I let him have it.
If you're curious, for the most part I used the Pilot Metropolitan (as well as its Japanese version, the Cocoon) in medium nib, though I used the fine nib where I didn't want as thick of a line. The Metropolitan was filled with Namiki black ink; the Cocoon, the same ink, but in blue.
