Good Things Come to those who wait, but... (12 minutes)
posted 8 years ago Anthro Artist
Twelve minutes is all it took for me to come to earth.
But unfortunately, not even one minute, to be with you.
-Extract from poem "12 minutes"
Good things come slowly. But we keep getting barraged by the bad ones. Is that a challenge? A torture? Is it fair? Unfair?
This piece uses colours that i wantd to show darkness, and joy in. I used the cyan colour because i thought it looked great, and i think that they are nicely designed. The smiling face of Joy looks quite creepy, kind of showing what you have to go through just for being happy. It is a long road. But I think everyone can do it if they try.
Misery's colours are those of a dark queen, but one depressed, sick of her powers, and not liking what she caused. She is not happy with her actions. But that doesn't mean she will not be tempted to repear, and that's what scares her.
The fusion of these two, Life, has characteristics from both. She seems to have a bit of a more sad influence in her dress however, showing that the good is small, but not small enough to not be visible. it still is in there, somewhere.
(Any lyrics of the poem that look weird is because they are a greek translation.)
