Created at the request of my 11-year-old daughter, a "Golden Age of Hollywood" style Fred-and-Ginger set of dancing mice... and the girl mouse's dress simply must be pink!
The title is from an old, French proverb: "Quand le chat dormant, les souris dansant!" Literally, it means, "When the cat sleeps, the mice dance." It's very similar to the English, "When the cat's away the mice will play," but so much more poetic.
