...jus' wanted ta show y'all how I try ta utilize m'food so as ta get the most from it... Usually when we got lotsa meats an veggies is that I mix up a couple batches of 'extra toppings'... which are the mixture of diced portions like the tops/bottoms from onions, tomatoes, peppers an such along with portions of other diced meats an veggies...
Fer instance... these both contain diced onion (white & green) tomato, mushrooms, ham, chicken breast and roast beef (deli meats) and a bit of shredded cheese blends... the one on the left is meant more fer those with a milder palette and has ground hamburger and extra mushrooms since that's m'roomie's preferences...
while the container on the right has ground sausage and red, orange, yellow an green peppers mixed inta that batch.
These containers are then kept refrigerated an can be used in a wide variety of dishes... I've used'em in omlettes, pizzas, burritoes, salads, chilis, gumbos, jambalayas...
