Suddenly, Leonard heard a sound he knew too well.
The sound of collapsing houses.
"Oh, what now..." he began, right before a projectile struck a whole row of houses in front of him, engulfing him in a torrent of smoke and dust.

High on a close cliff, a group of birds, who didn't see the recent development, was using a slingshot to throw rocks at the pig city.
"Isn't that excessive?" protested Matilda. "I mean, this time we're the ones attacking without provocation."
"Yeah, this time," snarked Chuck. "I think we can afford to return the favor."
"In addition, that'll keep them busy a bit longer," added Bomb. "More time where they leave us alone."
Terence gave an agreeing grunt, and the other birds agreed too. Matilda didn't insist.
"Too bad Red didn't come," commented Stella. "He would have enjoyed this."
"He's too busy enjoying something else," joked Bubbles.
"Actually, it's a good thing he didn't come," added Hal. "He'd have flattened the city in three seconds, that'd have been a bit too fast!"
All the birds laughed at this snark.
"YOU THINK YOU'RE FUNNY?!" thundered a skies-filling voice.
The birds brutally stopped laughing and turned towards the huge cloud of smoke.
From which emerged a growing pig.
"YOU THINK YOU'RE CUTE?!"
The amulet kept infusing Leonard with more power, growing him taller, bigger, bulkier, stronger...
In barely a few instants, the birds found themselves facing a true living mountain, even taller than the cliff itself, covering the entire city in his shadow, a titanic hog whose each muscle was bulging with immeasurable power.
And who was glaring tree-sized daggers at them.
"WELL YOU'RE NOT!!" roared angrily the oversized and still growing king. "AND YOU'RE GONNA FREAKING PAY FOR THAT!! YOU HEAR ME?! I..."
A feel on his wrist and a huge noise of destruction distracted him and he looked behind him.
And saw, at his consternation, that he just bumped down his castle and sent it crashing on the ground.
"OH, COME ON!!"
The birds exploded with laughter, reattracting their enemy's attention.
"THAT'S NOT FUNNY!!" barked the pig king.
"You're right, that's hysterical!" replied Chuck.
"ALL RIGHT THEN, I'M GONNA STOMP ALL OVER YOUR ISLAND, WE'LL SEE IF YOU FIND THAT HYSTERICAL TOO!!"
"Yeah, assuming Red'll let you do so!" riposted Matilda.
"AND WHAT CAN HE DO AGAINST THAT?!" spat Leonard, flexing a monstrously overbulging biceps.
"Take a guess," smirked Bomb.
The answer caught Leonard off guard, and the birds jumped on the opening to scram back to their island.

The pigs spent the rest of the day preparing a retaliative strike, and Leonard was more than ready to put his threat to use, but he kept wondering why the birds hadn't been scared by his growth or his words, and what their answer meant...
