The zippersnake, found on six continents if you know where to look. These magical creatures move about, ready to leap upon the belly or the back of the unsuspecting and inaugurate their transformation into a living fursuit. They're one of the minor but essential pieces in the transformative ecosystem.

One of those ideas that came almost fully formed to my mind, and that I tried drawing to see what would happen. This lead to several discoveries, among them that drawing zipper tread is incredibly therapeutic. Also I know, yes, a zipper doesn't fold exactly like this. I wanted to get the idea down while it was fresh in my mind, and to get the idea actually done. If I'm moved to draw more I might buy a bit of zipper from the fabric store so I can get the way it curves more right. For now, I just find the idea strangely fun.
