Because I CAN. That's why. I've wanted to mash up the Avengers and MLP in the "Make the Avengers Ponies" sense for awhile and thought... you know what? LETS DO THAT. I started with Tony (Iron Man) because I love him the most. :heart: Not to say I don't love the other Avengers, I super do, but you've gotta have a favorite, right? :D
I went back and forth on whether to make him a Unicorn or a Pegasus and settled on Unicorn even though Tony himself HATES magic. I figure the irony is funny! Also him building a suit to fly makes more sense this way too. Originally I wasn't sure I should give him his arc reactor, since I really wanted that as his cutie mark. But I got scared that people would miss it.
