Vixen takes time to give one of her cubs a quick bath. The cub seems more interested in who's taking his photo than mom's grooming him.

I'd have had the same problem. Boss probably would have gotten pissed. *grins*
Unfortunately, wuffy only got to watch them for about 3 days. Next time Vargr came to the building, the city had sent out a mowing crew to mow the abandoned field out back. Mom and her three kits had vanished, and Vargr never saw hide nor hair of them again.
These photos were taken about 3 years ago. Wuffy's watched for a new group of foxes to set up house-keeping there, ever since that, but had no success. Doesn't stop wuff from continuing to watch for them though - they were SO cute! *grins*

OMG! That is so adorable! Your really lucky you got to see them. I was comming home from Christmas last year I think, and there was a fox on the side of the road by one of the forest preserve areas. I wish it wasn't dark and I had a camera. I would have taken some pictures.
It's always a treat to be able to see wildlife like this. I really wish it would happen more often.
This wuff's rather envious of his boss - he lives a few miles out in the country near a section of national forest. He practically has a zoo in his backyard on some days. *smiles*
He claims there are some downsides to it though, like the bear camping out on his porch the day after they deep fried a turkey there. And all the deer grazing on his fruit trees and in his garden. Even after putting up a 'way-tall' fence, they still hop into the garden patch. And when they can't get that, they eat the wife's flowers from around the side of the house.
Guess there's "too much of a good thing" even with such cute critters.
