I had tweaked Lex a bit over the last couple of comics and adjusted his hair. I hadn't realized how much his hair had changed though -- looking back over the year his bangs have grown considerably (as has his ears) and his nose has become more of a jellybean.

That said, the floofs of hair on Felix and Rowan have grown too.

This is why people use reference sheets -- to avoid these changes over time. That said, I'm actively working to refine and develop my skills so I'm not as concerned with these changes over time. Some changes have been purposeful (Rowan's coloration and tweaks to her ears, the color around Felix's eyes) while others have been more gradual changes over time that were not always intentional but instead just gradual changes. I expect that Season 2 will have the look of these guys at least be a bit more consistent.

It's interesting that every so often everything does seem to take a notable quality jump.
