Man, I watched the entire fifth season of Orange is the New Black while working on this piece. It took forever. It was inspired by a recent scuba diving trip I went on with my husband and some friends. It was a great experience and it felt very refreshing.

And it bites off your snout,
That's.... a moray!

Love the detail you've put into this. The crystal kelp are rather unique. Making them translucent like that must have taken hours.

heh, oh boy did it. This piece had so many little details I had to work out. I made it for myself so I wasn't expecting much of a response. It was really satisfying once it was finished though.
