S.S American Victory Pseudo Bridge
When I took this picture, I wasn't sure if we'd be having access to the actual Bridge or not. When I saw this I began to doubt if we would get that honor so I figured this would be the closest thing.....

Guess they took everything off the bridge and put it in a display somewhere huh? Can tell that looks like a fake backdrop.
I remember going on a little ramble about those ol' engine telegraphs about a month ago when I went back and watched The Rescuers again on youtube. I noticed towards the end of the movie when they characters are all up in the bridge of that old riverboat that in the background you can see the engine telegraph. I was commenting on the little stories little details in the background can give, because I noticed it's engine telegraph was still set on 'Reverse FULL' which lead me to thinking that the captain must have tried backing the riverboat up when it ran aground but just couldn't manage it before they decided to abandon it.

Oh wow! I never noticed that! yeah that does add a nice little bit of story to the riverboat! XD now you've gone and got me curious! Though I think I agree with your assessment! However the water WAS deep enough for it to sink!
