Here's some of the other ships taking a much needed and well deserved rest in the harbor that day. I've always, since my earliest memories as a child, found ships and the idea of oceanic travel enthralling! Of course when I was young I only knew of the wrecks like the Titanic or Edmund Fitzgerald, but day dreaming of being on a ship like that always held a great attraction for my imagination. That might be why I like sci fi so much! The idea of being on a ship, exploring, roaming in something that seems vast and unknowable, being so close to the fury and wrath of nature. lol but I suppose I've always been a bit of a romantic in that regard. One day I have to take a cruise!
