it started when an accident caused Nicole to accidentally upload into Sally's brain and she spent a few minutes feeling the pleasures of the flesh, a few issues later she was working on that hologram body so she could do it again and now she's able to do that whenever she wants. I actually think it was a pretty good direction for the comic to take.
