Ooooo this guy, now I'm super excited, let me calm down here <3
So, I know good mothers dont have favorites, but this guy is my favorite by far lol And there are multiple reasons for that. He's pretty much the real me put into a shell molded of the things I'm passionate about, all given life by a particular song that heavily inspired me, more than inspired me even. This character was not part of my original list, but the song moved me so heavily, it shook up the things I love in my brain, impregnated my artistic spirit with it and out came a miracle, my favorite child.
Let's name em off. He is -
My love for panthers, so he's a panther.
He's young, innocent and naive, definitely sheltered. I like a previously-sheltered OP character.
White hair, cuz black people look awesome with white hair, and symbolism.
Got the thick jungle booty, important. He is indeed hyper, but hammerspace magic ;3
Plenty of Marvel inspiration, his powers and magic outfit are heavily inspired by Wiccan, my second favorite Marvel character. The outfit is basically Wiccan's old outfit and newer outfit put together. I like the awesome magical window-like feature of his newer outfit, but heavily prefer his older outfit for everything else, especially his cape, which seems to go from heavily tattered to almost prestine (I suppose depending on the artist), so next time I draw Avereign, I'll definitely experiment with the cape. Drawing tatters is tough, and a bit annoying at times lol
As for powers, he shares Wiccan's power to warp and manipulate reality (though of course Wiccan isnt the only character ever that can do this), the difference being where Wiccan does not possess full control over his power and must speak the effect he intends out loud (and must hear himself), Avereign does not have these handicaps, but his control over his own power is only almost near perfect, leading to the overwhelmingly vast power overflowing every now and then and causing Avereign to have what Sebasthien calls magical seizures. With his continued practice and growth, they become less and less common.
