This is what I imagined it looking like if Lue'maar (the brother of Ti'maar from my comic https://www.furaffinity.net/view/23500662/) got a portrait done of his personal "family." I'll give a description of each character (since I haven't talked about them much :P ) We have Lue'maar in the middle, his chief servant/steward Khay on the left (never shown him before :P ), and the melanistic Serval named Asha on the right from my popular drawing "Longing" (the alternate version in the description is her real color :P ).

Ah and Lue' and Khay are at their normal heights, but Asha is standing on something as she is much shorter :P And she appears quite happy that Lue' let her include her pet rabbit her gave her in the portrait haha.

Lue'maar (Pronounced: Loo-marr)(middle):
Twin brother of Ti'maar, and son of the Cheetah Alpha (meaning he is VERY wealthy) While his brother has already been selected to be the next leader, that is fine for Lue', he never really liked the leadership role. He is a highly skilled warrior and thoroughly enjoys the thrill of the fight firsthand :P He tends to be quite sadistic and loves to torment "lesser" people for his own amusement. But when it comes to his equals his is quite loyal and loving. May seem strange that such a cruel guy could be so nice to certain people, be he manages to justify it in his head! But to these two they are like family to him, they are pretty much the only servants he has he cares for and treats with respect.
Khay (Pronounced: Kay)(left):
Khay was purchased out of mercy when he was a child when Lue'maars father Ra'maar saw him chained up and in very bad condition at a wolf's palace he was visiting. Ra' cares very much about cheetahs (as he is their leader) and never likes to see any of them suffering (especially this time, as Khay was the same age as his own sons, and he was reminded of them). So Ra' purchased Khay, rescuing him, and gave him to Lue'maar as a companion, ordering Lue'maar to care for Khay and treat him as a brother. And Lue'maar did just that. He grew up with Khay, helped him recover, taught him how to read and write in multiple languages and how to do math. He treated him extremely well and loved him, and Khay returned the favor with extreme loyalty and devotion. Khay now operates as Lue'maars assistant, Steward, and head of his estate (a considerable task). Khay even traveled with Lue' during the civil war and tended to him. He does everything in his power to please Lue'maar, and can be quite emotionally and mentally unstable (but Lue'maar is patient with him thankfully). Only thing Khay doesn't like about Lu'maar is how sadistic he can be. It scares Khay at times (as it should), but he tries his best to look past it and to serve Lue' to the best of his ability, as he feels he owes Lue'maar his life for saving him and for Lue's kindness towards him.
Asha (Pronounced: Ash-uh)(right):
Asha is a very rare and valuable melanistic serval. She was born into a typical poor serval family outside of the Wolf Alliance during the Canid-Felid civil war. As they had very little, and had other children to feed, they sadly sold her off at a very high price when she was quite young. Eventually when the Wolf Armies (along with the cheetah army) invaded where she lived, her city was destroyed and she was taken captive by the soldiers. Lue'maar happened to be in the area when he saw several soldiers fighting over her, and knowing she wouldn't survive long in their hands, he beat them all up and took her for himself. Much like with what happened with Khay, Lue' treated her quite well, and compared to the rest of her owners he seemed like a savior. Lue' doesn't treat her with the same level of respect as he does Khay, but comparatively she lives a much more comfortable life than before (and much much better than the rest of Lue's servants) Lue' is very protective of her and in a twisted way thinks of her as a sort of "trophy" from the war, much to the annoyance of Ti'maar (who has tried to get him to release her.)

I'm fairly sure Lue'maar is exploiting some sort of legal loophole. Perhaps the manumission is contingent on spending seven years with *one* master and Lue'maar simply resells them to a dummy owner and purchases them back, resetting the counter. Or retains them as servants, since after seven years there's really nothing else they know, other than withstanding their master's whims.
In the original version they were :P now there are 2 classes of slaves, ones that are still citizens but like indentured servants (slaves for 7 year periods, but still with rights of a citizen) Thus tyoe makes up a good part of the popularion and a majority of free citizens.
And there are "forever slaves" that aren't citizens, and in order to be free have to have thier citizenship paid for for a very large amount to the government to be registered. This type has very limited rights, most unwritten social norms that masters follow to not bring shame on themselves. Both of these slaves in this drawing are non-citizens and will be such forever, unless someone pays for them to be free.
