Transduced specific alphabet I created ^^
After some time I toyed with the Transduced universe again... this time: a custom alphabet I came up with.
I figure that the animats formed their own society, using what they had or found out about the past civ...
Created 2 fonts for the universe, I guess it might be fun to implement it in some images or story lines ^^;
Mirall: "I hit this lame kitten by 2 tenths of a second at the 100 meter sprint today...!"
Verall: "...I heard that!"

Interesting, and the script looks "Cool" when typed up in the character's dialog. I was doing that with Steve Gallacci's "Albedo" font in some of the art I produced for Huzzah! and "Refractions" Fanzines in the 1990s. The Fans will enjoy this as they can write messages back and forth in the "Language" of their favorite "Transducer" characters.
in our 'english' alphabet, some sounds are represented twice and some others are not represented at all.
in my own i've taken steps to what i consider correct this,
which also generating words by (semi-)hexidecimal die roles (a pair of 8 siders) entirely possible
b,p,f,and v for example, could all be represented by a single symbol.
likewise all 'hard' sounds like the hard g and k, i give one symbol that resembles the letter g.
(all, btw, displayable on 7 segment numerical displays)
r and l i do keep as seperate and etirely distingishable symbols.
c is always the soft s sound
(unlike most of those historical alphabets which are familiar to me, in which the opposit is the case)
the consonant combinations ch, sh, and th, i have added as single characters.
in the vowels i've made 'eh' and 'ee' entirely seperate characters.
and all sound otherwise as what i would call their long rather then short versions.
(though to my own sense of logic aa is longer then ay, though o is as in on and u is oo)
well to each their own. my lananran is a very soft sounding language.
and one not difficult to pronounce when one has a sore throat.
(and thus that hard sound of c,k,g, is very rarely used in actual words)
come to think of it, i have made a blender file of the shapes of the letters, but not an actual downloadable font myself.
seeing yours makes my think perhaps some time i should post it.

Since capitalization has been lost, some characters like {([ have been lost, and you can throw away a lot of now useless ASCII characters, you will have plenty of extra potential characters. Do you have any plans for all of that? One unfortunate side effect of having visual binary is that there is only one true whitespace character (00000000). Does this mean you are abolishing linebreaks or would you just be able to see them at the end of the line?
I noticed you used the same symbols for < > [ ] and ( ). Wouldn't that make programming in this font a bit confusing? My guess is you would have to either come up with alternate ways of writing certain things or modify the font.
It is a cool font though. I like the second version better. I think the top version would be used by computers and other tech.
