Flying at 300+ MPH and at altitude makes it pretty drafty and noisy if a bullet happens to go through a plexiglass bubble. I'm surprised your critter hasn't plugged the hole yet, or is attempting to. Goggles down maybe.

Oh no, those aren't even close to a B-17. I have a ton of B-17 photos, as a flyable craft is near me, "Chuckie" that I can see up close, including the operators manual and schematics for its systems. B-17's are commonly drawn, so I went another route...these craft are not real, but Linsii B-41's from the Linsang Marten wars of 1943, alternate reality Earth, so to speak. Thus the Linsang pilot. : ) I have more in this war series I can put up if you like it.

I was gonna say...those do look quite a bit like the flyin' forts.

Similar line of duty too, the Marten Defense craft closely resemble the BF-109s as well, they are just known as TF-13's in their world.
