Filling in more of my demon mythology.
In this mythos, Glabrezu is an individual demon, not a race of demons, and he's mutated a bit from the D&D standard. He is the Cursed Ambassador of Demons and Lord of Contracts: If you want to make a deal with demonkind as a whole, he's your contact.
Oddly, he is, in this mythos, one of the easiest demons for mortals to interact with. He actually makes sure the contracts are fair (by some definition) and possible for mortals to keep their side of. Of course, most of the time, they fail to do so, since their side is enforced until the day they die.
When they break their side of the deal, Glabrezu is very upset at them. You do NOT want him upset at you.

In this particular variation, that is part of him. He's the deal-maker of demons, the demon of contracts. You deal with that "human" when you make a contract, and the rest of him when you break your side of the deal.
Note it's "when," not "if." :)
As far as the contracts, when you summon him, you expect to be making really big deals with multiple demons... At a terrible cost.

A dumb thing to even ask, are there any benevolent demons to make deals with? I have never had a chance to play DnD and if that were it then I know for a fact that there are none. The dime a million demons (that people write) don't count. They write themselves as bad and as demons but with human emotions. No the REAL question is are souls their bargain? By that I mean do humans lose their soul? And what about torture?
This isn't really D&D mythos, but rather my own little pantheon of demons (which may well inherit some from D&D). These demons are generally pretty profoundly evil, even if they don't seem so on the surface. There are some which are less malevolent, but actually benevolent, no, I don't think any are.
Glabrezu, in this world, is one of the more fair demons, actually. His deals actually CAN be kept, and somewhere down in his core is a sense of fairness. He is also insanely strict, and the slightest violation of the deal is a downright personal affront to him, so is met with violence. Humans are not good at keeping such deals, so virtually always, they eventually break their side, in some way they consider minor and unimportant.
And while it is possible to make a deal with a demon and keep your soul, you'd be very, very good at reading the fine print, so to speak. It may well be technically possible, but virtually never happens.
I can't imagine any of the demons would have any particular concern over torturing someone.
I am actually slowly documenting the pantheon at https://demon.aeto.net/
