Out of all the studies I scrambled at in vain last night, this was the only one to really look like anything worthwhile. But, I am afraid I am tapped out for the day. I don't think she'll go any further in this iteration... but it makes me wonder about who she is...

She seems so despondant, not outright sad--but that kind of far-away look that her face reverts to when she thinks no one is paying attention. What is she hiding...? What wracks her mind so?

Silvermist DeWinter.
The identity of my main character's (Cyrus') first love. Lately, she has been showing up again... and the nature of their separation was so unnatural, so jarring, so out of place all those years ago that sometimes I wonder if it should have happened at all... When Silver formally left, it was from Blackstone Tavern in southwestern Kasuria, on its old site three quarters down the road from Malgrave to Truelight Abbey...
Cyrus waited there for weeks before he began his mercenary career as a sniper and assassin. When he finally returned to Blackstone at the end of that summer, there was still no sign of Silvermist... so he left once more and found Shadow Haven, recruited by Saudria at first as a lowly soldier, as he was when he and Silvermist were together. Between then and now, now that he has seen her again, he suddenly feels he has only occupied his time to make the 'wait' more bearable... seeing Silvermist again, he feels no guilt except in that he wished his wait were more well-behaved... as he'd had several mates in the between-time >.>;; and had a son, as well...

I bring this up because Silver's player saw this image, and said, "That looks a LOT like Silvermist!" ... so now I know who this woman is. I think I may draw her again.
