This morning we met through Felina Madrid, a kind woman that took the kittens to take care of them until they find new homes.
Even if I'm relieved they are safe now, a sentiment of abandoning them is still present. Me and my boyfriend cried all morning after them, they were extremely dear to us.
I got very attached to the small spotted male, who almost died of cold and hunger when I found him. I think he knew that I was the one who saved him, so he was always following me around and hiding besides me or hanging on my leg like a little baby. This morning I woke up and he was sleeping on my neck.
My boyfriend loved the white female and hoped to keep her until the last moment. He had to struggle with them alone when I went to Romania and has grown very attached to her. She was the first who started walking and playing. And one thing I will never forget about her is how gentle and kind she was, when she played with our hands she'd do it without scratching us..

I know I'm talking about them like they died, but the pain is almost exactly the same. I'm extremely happy we managed to save them and that our struggle was not in vain.
