UPDATE: While I intended to originally call this species "GranKyubimon", the name "GranRenamon", seems more fitting, judging by it's design looking more like Renamon, rather than Kyubimon.

Rayne: Alright, Cam; as promised, since you untied me from that tree a few hours ago, I will cuddle with you, for old time's sake!
Cam: *blushes* Oh! Alright! *hugs her, and blushes* I missed you, friend of mine! *nuzzles her*
Rayne: *giggles, and starts to blush* I missed you too, my bosom buddy!

Basically, the guy hugging onto Rayne, (the GranKyubimon gal) is cuddling i nteh arms of her friend she had known for years; an "ExCalumon", that is AT LEAST nicknamed "Cam".
Cam is actually a nickname, for "Cam", of whom is actually Calumon, from the anime, himself. But in an alternate form, where, due to his potentially unstable power, he can only digivolve, with the help of other digimon, to help with that. (Basically, since h'es been known, to HELP digivolve others. But that's just an idea, for fan-fiction. Where, in a much more stable form, Calumon's main form, is actually "rookie" level. But being of the "free" attribute, in return.)
Also, Rayne has been friends with Cam, for years. And even though they're just friends, Cam missed her enough, as a good friend enough, that she missed seeing her. (And yes, they're BOTH Digimon.)
Rayne could unwrap and untie herself, at anytime; she just prefers not to, because she has the scarf-collar, to act as a second set of arms for her, instead. As well as being efficient, for cuddling with her friend. (And besides which; she feels so nice and warm underneath the sweater that she turned, into a makeshift straitjacket, with the help of her scarf-collar; combined with Cam's hug, that she simple chooses not to, until she's done cuddling, with her old friend.)
So, in other words, Rayne is indeed single. Though she doesn't mind cuddling, with some good friends, of hers!
