This was my final project in my first art class two years ago. Done completly in Ebony Pencil, which before this piece I had never used before. If memory serves this took about 6-10 hours.

Bowie is not the easiest man to draw/shade. He wears so much damn makeup. Despite all that I had a lot of fun with this picture. It came out very well for my first portrait.

And to avoid the confusion this is David Bowie in his Ziggy Stardust get-up. I know you can't see anything but his face so just take my word, it's Ziggy. And the dot on his forehead is a giant Bhindi.
