(I always forget that I don't necessarily have to 100% complete pictures. Sometimes rendered sketches will suffice when just sharing ideas.)

One of the other concepts I've been playing with for the "Waves" project was the idea of fusion between a human and their pet once a strong bond is built. The idea came up out of inspiration from DBZ and my love for companion shows/animes (Digimon, Medabots, Pokemon, etc.), but I feel like the concept might be a bit undercut by a pretty popular show currently running. Though, some would argue that there's no such thing as an original idea these days. And I am an avid believer of all things coming down to execution, even if two things might look alike on the surface.

This sketch features Dixon and Crest (formerly Dyvon and Waves) in a fusion form. Like most fusion concepts, the results are a combined appearance (more taking after the pet than the human), plus an increase in power and abilities.
