after longing for a tablet for 10+ years i finally got one! my grandmother bought it for me as a graduation present. she is so supportive of my artistic hobbies QwQ (i have mentioned it to my parents before when they ask what i want for christmas/my birthday/other significant events and it's like the thought of giving me art supplies is like pulling teeth lmfao). i definitely have lots to work on and this is only my first attempt at trying to make art digitally BUT HEY i'm working on it i'm having fun with my hobbies....

not to ramble but this is like REALLY big for me. i've always felt that i should be ashamed of making art, whether it's objectively good or bad. and like. it's not even a career path for me. maybe it would have been if i wasn't consistently shut down in my formative years but who knows. even today, at twenty two fuckin years old i feel shame, guilt and fear letting my parents see what i draw. is it just me or is that messed up?

man i'm just trying to tap into the happiness i felt circa age 10 making art, creating some of my first oc's and all that.

here's to making more and improving at my own pace.
