The cheetah is ©MarcC great guy who commissioned me for this.

the lettering means Akido.
This has a mistake that sort of turned into a slight blessing, I didn't think nothing of marking off the areas where the black splash brush blended in with the black of the characters marks, however it kind of gives it a older styled artwork feel to it, like you would see back in the okioet paintings or such.
So, There was a first inking to this, however I noticed the eyes was off so I trashed it and started again, I wanted to have this as close to perfect as I could get, but there will always be mistakes, and once you spot them after inking its hard to go back and fix ink. I kept it with the same style throughout the picture, from the brushed lettering to the brushed paint splash in the background, its not a letter just a twisted up shadow.
I enjoyed working on this, I really did, I love how all my blacks sorta blend in and out of each other giving it an older feel aswell as the style choice of how the clothing should fold and lines should either be lines or blackend areas.
anyway, enough of my jabber.
Thanks again, and enjoy.

Yeah...Something you might try is this brush on stuff I got to paint with! it's called masking fluid. A little expensive, but invaluable as a tool when doing water color or ink washes with otherwise tidy line art. Only problems I had with it was that it lifted a bit of pigment when I rubbed it off (kind of like rubbing dry glue off your fingers), but a re-ink could fix that entirely. It was also very quick to dry, so you have to be fast when you lay it down...
mmm I remember that stuff, it kinda scares me to be honsest, I played with it some 2 years ago and when I rubbed it off of areas it took the pigment and it left a slight like oily spot in the paper, which always scares me.
*hugs* thanks though, i know if i do airbrush stuff ill need to use alot of that masking fluid.

You sir, win the Froodiest Artist Ever Award!
If there ever was good advertisement to commission you again, it's this: excellent artwork, and rapid delivery (< 1 month). Some other artists should take lessons from you.
All I have to say is... "Watch out for that sword, it looks mean."
And a very... VERY tiny nitpick too: it's Aikido, not Akido, but you're forgiven for making that typo in the description (and the title).
