Diaper checks: Can't live with them. Can't live without them...
Cassidy "Cass" Swallows is not your average single mother with a semi-new kid and some gumption about her. She's Wren's mom/friend/life coach/tailor/ect, and the CEO of Playtime Products, a pharmaceutical up-start focusing primarily on babycare products and services known for revolutionizing the industry through two primary products: Playtime Pants, a diaper that emphasizes absorbency, durability upon multiple uses, comfort, and style (unlike OTHER brands that continually strip padding away in the name of "mobility"), and Leak=Guard, a revolutionary baby cream that's practically eliminated the threat of diaper rash in 99.9% of cases regardling prolonged diaper usage...and wearing of said diaper. She's essentially the Steve Jobs of early childcare at this point in her career, and it doesn't hurt the fact that her kid's not only a supergenius (in regards to her peers), as well as the fact that she's more than willing to keep wearing...and using them.
Laura Liam Finney is your average, everyday two-year-old little girl...and kinda not. She's well-behaved, good-natured, willing to share her toys and the like. She's got a mom that's more over-protective of hr kid than not. She's started showing some vague interest in learning about the potty (yet isn't quie ready to start training yet). She's growing up a little bit, each and every day, and recently just finally got a hand of some of her basic numbers. Seems normal, right?
She's also Wren's self-declared "besterest friend." The two met up by chance at Daycare, and much to Wren's chargin, the kid sticks to her like paste. She reluctantly goes along with a lot of Wren's schenanigans, despite her better judgements. Even if things do go south, Laura's more than willing to follow Wren, no matter what.
Besides, she also likes the funny noises Wren makes whenever she goes "plop-plop," as she puts it.
