Proof that I don't have a perfect green thumb. These three banana trees came in one pot. They were all pups growing from the corm (the underground tuber) of an older plant that had been cut off to a stump. They were already way too big for their pot and are only going to get bigger so I wanted to split them up. The right hand banana there is the largest of the three, and I left it attached to the mother root system. The middle banana I successfully cut off with some roots. The left hand banana I screwed up on, and didn't get enough root. I planted it anyhow, but it might not make it. Poor sad droopy banana.
