I'm so glad that the world of Final Fantasy VI was recreated so lovingly on the 50 peso note. But the writing is too small for me to make out any of the Argentine leaders, other than Sarmiento.
I'm kind of disappointed that they didn't have anything for Carmelo Arden Quin, the founder of the MADI movement. It is rather interesting to note that the largest collection of his work is in Dallas, Texas. If you ever come by, I'd have to show you a museum with an Argentine connection.

Those jagged edges look like a map from one of the Final Fantasy games, but those islands had to be the ones that were so important that Argentina and England went to war for their possession.
As for the MADI museum in Dallas, you should come and see it if you ever decide to visit the United States.

Yes, and valuable. It's odd to think that an amalgammation of South American artists, Shoah escapees, European expatriates, and followers of Eastern mysticism all provided some ideas to the MADI movement. Quin's biography of traveling sans passport between the borders of Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Brazil before he turned 18 seems absolutely incredible.
