It's simple. Since the day my friend  kumbartha introduced me to the character 30-30 from Bravestarr (I blame him for having made me finding him hot ! But it's true I love what the animators did to him in the show : sometimes they draw his face semi-realistic, sometimes very cartoony ; I love when it switches this way in animation), I wanted to draw him, and that I have been introduced by Taylor from Freaktown (man he's funny and hot, and I blame cookie-lovey for her fanarts of him ; I immediatly noticed drawings of a WARRIOR UNICORN, how rad can it be !), I wanted to draw him. And as they are both hunky anthro equines, I suddenly thought yesterday of them glaring at each other, and drew them today ! I just LOVE how it came out I'm very proud, especially as it's the first time I draw each ! Plus, just like this pic ( http://benthehyena.deviantart.com/a.....ence-679972159 ), it was once again an occasion to jump from a style to another and to compare 2 characters from 2 drastically different-looking franchises. I should do it more often, it's very fun to do !
