little patches... she had lived in a little settlement that also housed a bunch of orphans ever since she was real little. she hated it because they made her work hard and they were treated more like property; the owners would sell children every now and then.
Caravans would stop by every now and then, and Denton was a caravan guard back then so he'd stop n play with the kids every time they stopped by. Patches and him were very close since some of the other kids were scared of him since he was a ghoul (smh..) and when she was 5-6 she'd beg him to take her with him and he actually did try and talk to the owners about adopting her but they rejected him and basically insulted his race as well
