I just wish the people who really need help could get it, without jumping through a bunch of hoops, but Ozzie is right since I have applied for SSI, SSD I do not qualify for any other help, until they qualify me or disqualified me for it which F___in sucks. but do you want to know what really sucks,... even more than all of that?? Everyone knows I'm a diabetic and that I am insulin-dependent I have to take 25 units of 70/30 insulin twice a day, it's getting to where I can't measure out my insulin. I'm also living by myself each day gets harder to see the dials on the stove and the other day I did turn on the wrong burner :(((

Yeah...I know this all too well. Its like you can't have any other help until you get Social Security. If you're eligable for it, they won't help you until you get it. I'm still trying to get it too.

well sounds to me ur getting disability since they want to be lazy an not give ou surgery

do not know if I'm getting disability or not, that still has not been determined yet, it takes 120 days which is around 6 months for them to make a determination and it's only been about 4 months, this is the second time that I have tried to get disability the first time I tried they said that I did not do certain things??? which was not true, I did everything they wanted me to, but god for bid me to call the government a liar, and you usually get denied the first time around anyways, I am just hoping they do not do that again.

i used to have a time wher i could claim blindness but i wanted to prove otherwise now my eye doctor only notices my astigmatism or how eever its spelled but i still can notice my other problems they have just most people cant tell since i speent years in the feild of art to train my vision

and people in the states STILL say universal health care is a bad idea, which absolutely astonishes me.

all in all I got approved finally, get my first direct deposit November 10 for the Back-pay and November 11 with a regular, what is really pissing me off is that they are withholding five months of back pay almost $5,000. And I really don't know the logic behind it is just their way of doing things.

And for the last 10 months I have been living on &0.00 dollars except for $24.00 that I got about a month ago from someone who's set up an artist that was doing artwork and giving the percentage of it, but that 5000 would have went to making life a little bit easier and not worry about money for a while, but I will make it I just wish they would consider what they do an actual reality in other words what looks good on paper when put into practice is not always good.
