Here we have an absolutely perfect and very real townsend mole skull (Scapanus townsendii) on a new 18 inch silver plated chain with spring clasp. The naturally deceased skull has been carefully cleaned/processed by me and peroxided white with a light semigloss finish; a hole is drilled into the back with a jeweler's drill for the silver ring through which the chain runs. The skull is damage free and isn't missing a single tooth.

Grasped in the jaws is a piece of polished white and gray veined howlite. The stone has been locked into place with a dab of clear epoxy that is invisible to the eye. Two tiny rings of real silver (925 sterling) are hooked around the zygomatic arches to add a hint of flash. The ring that secures the chain at the back of the skull is also sterling, while the chain itself is high quality plated silver.
