So, this is my freshly finished pic of the hounds of a certain demon you might remember from my previous pic.

It's been a while since I drew ferals and I wanted to create some kind of dark hounds but don't get too close to the usual generic hellhound clichés with fire and three heads. I think they are still dark enough tho, even if the design is probably still pretty boring, I just tried to keep a balance between dogs and wolves. And I also tried to bring at least some minor narrative elements in it...idk if it really makes sense tho.
Either way I would love to hear what you think on the pic.
Also those two still need names, so I'm open for suggestions, thanks~

I have always loved the Wild Hunt; with my own foibles I've always considered the hounds to be beasts that were men, under the control of their leader; living normal lives until they hear the horn of their master, becoming beasts to savagely pursue what their master decides... and unaware that it was even the case. Of course I tend to try to make everything needlessly dark... but it seemed fun. XD

Hey that's actually an awesome idea. Kinda funny because I had a similar one for a story. Although it was not as dark. The idea was that people of a village or land are 'cursed' to become werewolves or something similar for a night when they hear the horn. Also the hero of the story would be one of those, and as all he would curse it and see it as the incarnation of evil, but it turns out more and more that this actually the oposite.
It's pretty basic and worthless I know, just saying, that was what inspired me to this pic.

Honestly it's not worthless. An idea that the people of the land or even a village are cursed by the Master of the Hunt to take part in whatever they wanted... and could put a positive spin on it. Maybe he exists to keep out those who would violate his lands? Maybe it's curse that no one knows about, only that 'if you are in theses lands and hear my horn you will be my hound to be in the hunt'.
Honestly there's a ton of ways to spin it -- don't sell yourself short ;)
