A contest entry for CasArtss on DA. The theme was emotion/atmosphere... So I did a somewhat emotional piece. I'm not sure about others, but fear makes me emotional almost all the time! So I decided to do a fear-based piece with Coco. Inspired by pages 6 and 7 of "The Last Wolf" comic, it's clear that Coco is terrified of the idea of ghost wolves roaming about the island, even though Kasumi swears they aren't real... So I thought I'd build off of fear to give an emotional vibe. PLUS I LOVE COCO SO MUCH UGH.
This is officially the first piece posted with my new style- traditional digital mix. The sketch and lineart, along with basic shading and details, were done traditionally. Everything else- like color and shade- were done digitally. I like this! This is fun and I'm glad I got to experiment with it.
