I had recently seen the movie Monster Trucks, and while it was the standard 'family friendly' fare that one expects of such a movie, they really did do a wonderful job with the main creature, Creech.
Before being used as a truck engine, there is a scene in the movie where Creech first encounters the young, human protagonist and in a moment of fear, makes a defensive posturing.
For anyone who loves monsters and vore, it's the best moment of the movie, even if nothing vorish happens. After seeing it however, I knew I needed to replicate that moment in a commission, so here he is with my Sabertooth Otter, Citrum.
I absolutely love how fantastic of a job Goldy had done here, beautifully capturing that deadly, rubbery look to Creech when he's frightened or angry. Or in this case, hungry for something with more substance than oil. ;)
My thanks to Goldy for taking on this commission and doing such an amazing job with it.

Oh wow. That's some awesome concept art. Thanks for sharing.
Though I can understand why they changed it. Those more detailed, colorful options would not really have played all that well, with Creech stuffed into an engine compartment for 90% of his screen time. It would have been a wasted effort to have that much detail to him, and I think the more fluid look to the version they went with, probably fit the movie better.
But man, I'd definitely love to see those other versions used in some other movie, where perhaps they were more predatory.
