Mikaylah Marley's Elkley® mm4™ Signature Sports Glasses!
Well, lookie who got sponsored recently. ;3
Mikaylah landed her first professional sponsorship deal this month, signing a fairly lucrative one with Elkley Eyewear® as one of their spokes-athletes! (spokesbat? spokeswolfbat?)
Of course 'lucrative' is subjective, as the albino wolfbat from Ireland is averaging only a few points a game coming off the bench for the (currently league leading ) Williamsburg Minutemen (or as they call them around the FBA, the "Minutewomen"... check their roster. ;3 ) only weeks away from entering the postseason with homecourt advantage and a real chance at an FBA championship.
Mikaylah is also half of one of the two power-couples on the Ladies-and-Minutemen! She is mated to her girlfriend Rebecca McCloud, the team's now starting center (and 7'4" of smokin' hot vixen) whom I will be drawing later on. ^^
But no star in Williamsburg burns hotter than that of Puerto Rican sensation (and 6x FBA All-Star) Vera La Tiérra, who (along with now hubby Leonard Mack ) make up one of the most attractive and popular pairings in furry sports! Mix that in with their high-flair, high-appeal playing style and it's no wonder the Elkley guys decided to strike while the iron was hot. ^^
Aside from being an attractive face on a team with lots of nationwide media coverage, Marley's story also makes her appealing to the brand. Being born in Galway, Ireland an albino, the lack of melanin in her irises make it essential to avoid prolonged exposure to any bright light (such as those at basketball arenas). She also must wear 50spf sunscreen daily to avoid burning, even in low sunlight, as her skin cannot properly guard against UV rays. (and THAT'S why she always wears sports sleeves/Under Armour ^^).
When an albino athlete under the bright spotlight of professional sports places her career and vision in the hands of a single company you know that company better have one of the best, most trusted products out there.
