Back from Califur and recovered, so now it's time to draw more.

Another addition from my pantheon, this is Endymore, the god of heroes.

Endymore is a "Hallmark" god - The Guild, a semi-mafia style organization that trains heroes in exchange for a cut of the loot, decided they needed a god in their pocket. So they made one up. The Guild is a pretty influential organization, and with enough bribes, false miracles and temples in every city they operate in, eventually the belief of the people made Endymore real.

Endymore is the god of Chivalrous fighting, the protector against evil and champion of The Guild. There is a shrine to Endymore in every Guildhouse and many temples in the more influential cities. Endymore's temples are tightly bound up with The Guild and are run almost completely by clerics they have trained. They are places where the oppressed can go for succor and safety - and a good place to drop the word if a hero is needed of course, since the clerics have every reason to pass word on to The Guild.

Almost every group of heroes The Guild sends out is accompanied by a cleric of Endymore, and it is one of the fastest growing religions in the area, due in part to the fact that Endymore's domains were carefully selected by The Guild to be as useful to an adventuring hero as possible.

Besides being The Guild's god in a pocket, Endymore was also created to battle Riss-Da'an, the god of the undead, and so viewed the undead as his personal enemy. Every so often, The Guild send out a crusade to destroy any pockets of undead, or failing to locate that, any other large enough group of "monsters" they deem to be infringing on civilization too much. This endears both The Guild and Endymore in the hearts of the common folk and ensures that The Guild is a popular organization in almost every city they expand into.

Endymore is Lawfull Good and his domains are good, protection, healing, war, and glory(Deities and Demigods book). His favored weapon and symbol is a morning star - a pragmatic choice, since any cleric wielding a morning star has a symbol they can use to turn undead.

So yeah, I threw a little more color on this one that I've done in the past. I'm very happy with Endymore's helmet - very hard to design a helmet to protect the ears of a rabbit. The ribbons are flying from hooks on the back of the ear protection.
