Faye thought she could run from her debts, even debts made with the Sea Witch, Jinx. Jinx, on the other hand, wasn't going to let her get away with that. When Faye's three days to pay Jinx back ran out, she found herself confronting her creditor, who strangely didn't seem the slightest bit upset that Faye couldn't pay up. Moments later, she found out why when Jinx's magic caused her to shrivel into a polypous bottom-feeder permanently rooted to the sea floor.
She should have read the fine print more closely before agreeing to the deal.
