from what(admittedly little) I've been seeing, she might be neither. They're working on something called VPOs(vehicle pred objects) which, well I don't know HOW they work exactly, but they probably function using vehicle coding, and can apparently do just about anything within the bounds of the game.
I've also heard about those. They have the potential to pretty much act like a creature from barbftr. Preforming different actions depending on the buttons used to control it (at least I think it can) I thought they would be reserved for giant preds but it doesn't matter as long as we get renamon in starbound somehow I'm happy with it either way:)
