Extra info: Raynard Silvaris was born on the surface of Ardiss to a small family of farmers in the midst of the Ether crisis. due to exposure to Ether he spent most of his life sickly and weak, unable to help his family provide for themselves. Ray spent most of his young life bedridden but had a very deep interest in learning, over time he studied and learned new and effective ways to use what Mana that was left in the surrounding area to develop special devices that would absorb Ether energy and convert it into a constantly sustainable form of power to keep the family's farming equipment running and to keep his mother and father afloat. as time went on he began experimenting with prosthetics to strengthen his body to allow him to finally be of help to his family, after his parents passing Raynard realized that his talents with technology would better serve the people of a neighboring kingdom who welcomed him with open arms and allowed him to continue his research and experimentation with technology as long as the technology could be used to help those whose bodies were ravaged by Ether mutation and sickness. at the age of 18 Raynard had mastered the technological art of Cybernetics and began the long painful process of replacing nearly all of his body with the most advanced cybernetics he could craft, claiming that his old body parts were "horribly inefficient"and that these new enhancements "opened the door to endless possibilities for the advancement of my research" while at the same time almost completely halting the aging process. these new devices tied directly to his nervous system allowed him more intricate control over every part of his body thus making him both highly efficient with his research, and extremely dangerous to anyone who threatened to stand in his way. after being transferred to a research team on the lower surface of Ardiss, Ray was sent on expeditions to find anyone and anything that could be of use to the people of the more civilized upper surface. while on one of these expeditions he and his team were set upon by a group of "savages" led by a titan of a woman, Mistral, who took him captive and held him within her own personal Harem. after falling in love with the powerful woman Ray convinced her to return to the upper surface where they started a family and Raynard set up his own cybernetics company Silvaris Tech.
