The Official Hamtaro Handbook was not the only thing I found while back in my hometown for my interview. I also came across some fun piccies that I thought I'd share.
This one is of the oh-so lovable, heroic Scorchio turned Baby Scorchio, Caldma. He didn't realize that using a Baby Paint Brush would actually make more than his outward appearance appear infantile. However, if not for his faux pas, Zarra would never have been rescued from the Neopian Pound and they'd have never been able to help DB in his hour of need.
Care to learn more about these wonderful characters and how they all became such good friends? Well, the entire series is listed below so you can do just that. Whether you want to read it as one big file, or view it in parts, is up to you. Either way, I assure you that you will have a most wonderful time.

Either way it's neat you found such a bright, colorful picture! Caldma had a neat little adventure, and all heroes need a little downtime - so it's nice to see that he can take things slow for a sec. (: Woop woop!
I think back to this story when I see that Neopets game in GameStop sometimes - I think it has a Scorchio on the cover. :B

How cool that you should mention 6/6/6. That day was uber special as my wife's sister gave birth to her daughter on that very day. The two of us went and saw "The Omen" in theatres in honor of the occassion. <LoL!>
As for Caldma, he is always go for a good nap. That Baby Paint Brush messes with you in more ways than one. :) Yep, yep, yep!

Hehe, I was working at the movies when that movie was out, but I wasn't there that day. I remember hearing about how many people went to see it with scary face paint. 8D She might end up being proud of that "super cool" birthdate later down the line. 8D

Ah, sleepy Ham-Ham are we, Oxnard? Considering the amount of love you got from that journal you put up, plus your other works, I'm not surprised. You just are one, uber popular Ham. :)
It's funny, but her mom never really thought about how her daughter was born on the "Day of the Beast." Thus far, she's a pretty, typical three year old. She has some issues going to bed, but what little kid doesn't. Mine only requires a few books and a song and, poof, he's out to slumber-land. :)

I'm so glad to hear that, Tacki. I really put a lot of thought into making it and was very proud with the overall result. Especially as, "Zarra's New Friend" and "Caldma's Holiday" were both my first forrays into experimental writing techniques. :)
Oh, I can not forget either that Zarra's tales were also the ones where you gave me the grand suggestion of creating a "Compilation File." People seem to really like those and I wouldn't have done it without your insight to do so. I want to do one for the "Creative Campaign," but am quite afraid of the file size. I guess I'll have to see how it all turns out.

Hmm. If memory serves, you could've either had a Grarrl or a Chomby. Did it look more T-Rex like? Or more like a Stegosaurus?
Blech! Baby Clothes were next to IMPOSSIBLE to get for your pets. When I finally got my Baby Scorchio, I wanted to get him in a diaper so bad. However, no doing. I was tempted to use a Baby Paint Brush on my Zafara just because they get diapers. However, my Zafara was special and, as such, I saved up for over two years to get her a Royal Paint Brush.
I miss being on Neopets. It was a lot of fun. After my vision super-dropped in 2006, I just couldn't enjoy it like I used to. Especially as, unless I used a certain theme, I could see the drop-down, navigation menus. :(
There's a part of me that, one day, hopes my son may want to give the site a try. And, if he does, I'll give him my account. My poor pets... *Sob*
