Healing Aura
Milky can emit an aura from the palms of her hands that possesses healing capabilities, which will heal the bodily injuries of anyone she touches. The aura can mend cracked gems, heal bodily injuries, ease anxiety, and induce sleep. It cannot revive shattered gems or dead biological organisms, relieve mental illness, or heal corrupted gems.
Personality
Milky is a compassionate and gentle gem. She is extremely caring and very motherly. Her maternal instincts often override her common sense and she will behave rashly to protect anything she deems under her care. She has an even temper and is seldom angry, but can respond defensively when protecting somebody or something. She adores children and lives to serve and care for them. She would never turn away from someone in need and enjoys helping others.
Bio
Milky quartzes were manufactured from similar conditions as rose quartzes, to fulfill the niche left behind when their gem type was permanently bubbled. Today, milky quartzes serve as medics and caretakers, but Milky felt less than content with her lifestyle, although she enjoyed helping others as a medic. What she loved and desired more than anything on Homeworld were gemlings of her own, which she soon discovered that she couldn't have due to a defect. Her inability to conceive prompted her first mate to leave her very suddenly and unexpectedly, which sent Milky spiraling into depression. Someone of her social status was forbidden to adopt a gemling and, so, she settled for the next best thing: babysitting. Milky cares for gemlings in their parents' brief absences and, in her free time, volunteers as a caretaker at a clinic that houses orphaned gemlings, as well as ownerless pearls and other servant class gems. Here, Milky encountered a toy fossil named Yip, who had been abandoned there by her most recent owner, one of three who had adopted and then returned her. While Milky was beneath the status of having a servant, the agency was desperate to be rid of Yip forever and, so, she was allowed to adopt her. Yip was never a surrogate child nor a servant, but a companion who would later become Milky's own mate. Currently, Milky doubles as both a medic and a babysitter, with help from her assistant Yip.

She wasn't created until after the war, when Pink Diamond would have already been shattered. I theorize her gem type would have been manufactured to fulfill the niche left behind by rose quartzes, but until we know for sure what rose quartzes were actually used for, I'm just speculating!
