Bought this classic today, would be nice if the great artists does a centaur in this pose but make him a proper stallion!
No macro or hyper, just proper nice but slightly bigger? (he is a virile soldier after all!!)

Very nice find! Did it come with the miniature bottle, or do you have to buy that separately? :)

If it weren't a collectible, I'd suggest using something like Super Sculpey to make the necessary "modifications" yourself, but considering its rarity (there are none on eBay as I type this) that would probably be sacrilegious. Still a handsome fellow, despite the lack of proper man parts.

No, I actually found it by sheer chance in a pawn shop in a small town, I always wanted a proper centaur sculpture and this one is one of the best, HAD to get it and yes, it was quite expensive due to it's rarity.
I would REALLY wanted to make him intact as my other sculpture, but have not the self ability to do it, was thinking to have it 3D scanned and then ask one of the excellent 3D artists to do it for me and then 3D printed. Due to the rarity of the piece as you mentioned as well, I would rather not change it.

This piece has got the correct and nice size to make him a proper male.

Having it scanned and 3D printed may be expensive (I don't actually know, since I haven't had anything done that way) but I agree it would be the best way to preserve the original. A skilled 3D artist may even be able to improve on it, e.g., separating the fingers, adding hoof detail, etc.
That other piece you linked to is really nice! I have quite a collection of anatomically-correct animals, but I don't have anything quite that impressive.
