Not that I knew of, the closest to that was some normal people in the hotel not part of the convention seeming confused but that was nothing.
One thing I saw though was that due to recent things that have happened in the uk, there were armed police at the con keeping an eye out for any rogues which thankfully, there wasn't.
If you have the chance to go next year, I would recommend it!
