'sup folks :v!
A bit late but here's my entry for the awesome Mayternity event held at Impreg-Nation over dA, 'Mayternity Through Time'!
I picked the year 2100. I hope that by this year, we could reach this kind of technology.
The idea behind this pic is a lady who, after an accident, had most of her body replaced by augments. But technology still let her have her own children. Quite a few actually. And so, with happy eyes and tears of joy, she touches the holographic image of one of her unborn children with her still human hand.
I hope y'all like it. I had lots of fun designing her :D!
Cheers!

actually this tech is around a decade away
we already managed to grow a lamb in a synthetic womb
so i doubt that a miniaturised version could not be made by 2027
however why even carry the baby when you can have the womb detached from the body providing a safer incubation ,complete security from infectuous threats and 24/7 monitoring and medical help on standby ?
